Friends of the Wissahickon

For May’s day of Community Service (Technically we went in April for Earth Day), the Jefferson Ave team, along with some long-time friends and colleagues in the real estate world, got out to help the Friends of the Wissahickon for their annual Earth Day clean up right here in our back yard at Valley Green. For Earth Day, we always like to extend invitations to the kiddos of our partners to help facilitate a lifetime of service and community involvement. “Leave it better than you found it” has been a recent theme at Jefferson Ave Insurance, and I couldn’t think of a more complementary service day to go along with this mentality. Teaching this to our children today is of the utmost importance for them tomorrow.

We had three amazing partners come out this month. Our very long-term friend and close partner, Adam Boxman of Performance Real Estate Network with his wife and youngest daughter. Jesse Barnes of Remax and the entire Barnes family came out to join us for the third year in a row. My good buddy, Shad Hammond of Loan Depot also came out. Everyone brought smiles and able hands to help in the effort.
